Dorothy Kelley Patterson, a homemaker, has been a lifelong helper to her husband Paige Patterson, former president of three Christian institutions of higher education and the Southern Baptist Convention. She has served as professor of theology in women's studies for almost four decades. With graduate and postgraduate degrees in theology, Dr. Patterson teaches, speaks, and writes for women. She is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, served on the founding board for the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and attends Hunter’s Glen Baptist Church. The Pattersons reside in the Dallas, Texas area but travel extensively throughout the world. Their children Armour and Rachel Patterson as well as Carmen and Mark Howell, with their daughters Abigail and Rebekah, live in Texas as well.
